What services are provided exactly?
Dréimire provides the highest quality translation and proofreading services to its customers. We can provide English to Irish or Irish to English translation as well as a proofreading service of Irish texts. We also provide voice-over, transcription and localisation services also.
What kind of material is translated?
Dréimire is able to translate any type of document or text. Here are a few examples of the types of materials we have translated in the past:

What are the costs?
Our translation and proofreading services are charged at a rate per word. VAT of 23% is payable on top of our base price. Our base translation rate includes a second reading from another linguist who did not translate the document in order to ensure quality assurance. This linguist examines the translation closely to find errors or inconsistencies in the text and suggests changes where necessary.
What is the minimum number of words I can have translated?
There is no lower limit of words that can be translated. Any project with less than 200 words however will be charged as a project with 200 words to cover administration and processing costs.
How long does it take to provide a translation?
The completion time of a particular translation depends on a number of different criteria. Below is a general guide as to how long it takes us to provide a translation. Please note that this is a guide and adherence to the stated timeframes is not always possible.
1000 words - 1.5 working days
5000 words - 3 working days
10,000 words - 5 working days
50,000 words - 8.5 working days
What are the payment method?
We can accept the usual payment methods: bank transfer, credit or debit card and cheque. Payments are requested through an invoice issued when the translated document is returned to the client. This invoice is payable within a period of 30 days.
What kind of practices are there for data protection and privacy?
Data protection and privacy are very important parts of all translation that we do. Our translators have a legal duty to ensure data protection and privacy with a strong emphasis on data security which is dealt with in accordance with national and international best practice.
Who are the translators?
We have a panel of skilled translators and proofreaders who carry out freelance translation on our behalf. All translators are required to undergo a translation assessment before being added to the panel. We also have an in-house Foras na Gaeilge accredited translator who can deal with issues and problems quickly if they arise.

Dréimire Language Services was founded in April 2020 and from then on we have provided translation services to a number clients. We have translated for 8 different county councils, 5 state organisations and a number of other private sector bodies in Ireland and further afield. We are currently in 5 contractual arrangements with organisations to provide translation services.
Furthermore, we welcome individuals: authors, musicians and others, to seek quotations from us. We have translated songs and other such materials in the past.
